APPLICATION: Diamond coated shim sheets are thin flexible metal sheets coated with a 100% concentration of diamonds of various grits. These sheets may be cut with ordinary scissors to any size or shape and with the help of high quality glue, may be attached to any smooth surface (metal, plastic, and wood). Diamond shim is widely used in polishing of hard metals and other materials where a fine finish is required (printing, ticket-issuing equipment). In many instances it will replace standard sandpaper but with an almost 100% longer lasting ability, thus cutting costs substantially.
